Very soon our friends in System Exclusive will be winging their way to the UK direct from Pasadena, CA. Faced with the near-impossible task of making a living in California while working as touring musicians, they put their life in storage, put a bed in the van, and have been living wherever the shows take them. In the past two years they’ve hauled their mini-synth "band in a backpack" to 12 different countries, 20 different US states and all around the UK in desperate search of a good time - and we know Birmingham is gonna show them one.
If you like the sound of of old school synthwerks, hot-under-the-collar live drums and slashing post-punk guitar, grab your tickets now. Support comes from local goth weirdos The Devil & Saint Joseph, Birmingham’s own "spaghetti futurist" three-piece who pair synth and guitar with self-shot visuals and the hiss of an ageing 8-track.
